The new Wonder Woman trailer is officially here! Tom and Zac are here to break it down with their thoughts and reactions to the 2 minutes and 30 seconds of new footage that we got.
“I used to want to save the world, this beautiful place, but the closer you get, the more you see the great darkness within. I learned this the hard way, a long, long time ago.” – Diana Prince
In the new footage we get to see more of Themyscira and plenty more of Gal Gadot in action as Wonder Woman. We also get more hints to the plot as well as who the potential villain(s) are. There are more visuals of the horrific Great War/ World War I scenes as well as more Steve Trevor and Etta Candy.
After the epic first trailer from San Diego Comic-Con, how does this one stack up? Does this increase our hype levels for the film or not? This trailer also brought up more questions about the film and who the characters might be playing?
- Is Danny Huston playing Ares, god of war?
- Is Elena Anaya playing Dr. Poison?
- What character could David Thewlis be playing?
- What hints to the story did we get from the footage?
- How do the visuals of Paradise Island compare with that of World War I?
The Wonder Woman film is now less than 7 months away. The movie stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Connie Nielson as Queen Hippolyta, Robin Wright as General Antiope, and Lucy Davis as Etta Candy. Directed by Patty Jenkins, it officially hits theaters on June 2, 2017.
